Dr. Renai Kraytem, DrPH, MSW, LCSW

Hello, my name is Dr. Renai Kraytem, and I’m the founder of Kurative Therapy. I’m a dedicated advocate for mental health and wellness, holding a Doctor of Public Health, a Master of Social Work, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and clinical supervisor, I am passionate about helping individuals and teams create meaningful, positive change.

My doctoral research focused on designing comprehensive training programs to equip doctors and nurses with the tools they need to educate and assess new mothers and fathers for postpartum depression and anxiety effectively. This work aimed to enhance healthcare professionals' ability to recognize early symptoms, provide empathetic support, and connect mothers with critical resources and interventions. Improving maternal mental health outcomes and fostering a supportive healthcare environment for families during transformative times is a mission close to my heart.

As a public speaker, I promote the power of positive thinking and mental wellness, empowering individuals to coexist with their trauma and embrace resilience. Throughout my career, I’ve managed two successful practices in New Jersey and served as Director of Behavioral Health for 27 primary care physician offices. In this leadership role, I implemented evidence-based strategies that enhanced mental health programs and positively impacted countless lives.

I am deeply committed to fostering healing, growth, and excellence in behavioral health and remain dedicated to advancing this vital work.
